For Our Prospective Vendors

The museum coordinates various vendors for all its private functions.  These usually include catering companies, photographers, chairs, tents and other rental equipment.  While the parties renting the facilities for their events have the final word in choice of vendors, the museum has a long standing policy of assuring that the contractors are reliable and adhere to certain procedures and post-event clean-up.    For others who will be working with us for the first time, we ask that they meet with our Functions Manager ahead of time to review our requirements.  We do this in an attempt to avoid any problems that might arise prior to, or during the event.

For Our Prospective Renters

The museum has offered private rentals since its opening as a public institution.  We understand that every event is special to the parties involved, and we strive to make it seamless in its execution, particularly for those who are not frequent hosts of larger affairs.  To that end, we offer our prospective clients a list of suggested providers that have been pre-approved, and are familiar with the property, and some of the constraints–and advantages–it offers.  If you have preferences for caterers and other providers, we require them to meet prior to the event with our Functions Manager, to go over our established requirements.
