Professional Engagement & Wedding Photoshoots:
What better backdrop to capture the essence and joy of your wedding day than at a nearly century-old, castle-by-the-sea with a drawbridge and soaring towers? Hammond Castle Museum is available for couples to have their professional engagement pictures and wedding pictures taken on-site. While the Museum does not offer photography services, we do maintain a list of preferred photographers. However, there are no restraints on what photographer you may use for your photography. Professional photoshoots require approval from the Museum and requests must be submitted no later than one month before your desired date. The rental fee is $350 per hour between 4 and 5 pm, and $450 per hour after 5 pm. The fee grants you exclusive access to both the interior and exterior of the Museum.

Professional Photography Sessions:
Looking for the perfect setting for your family portraits or your maternity shoot? Hammond Castle Museum does not offer photography services but can provide a list of preferred photographers. Professional photoshoots require prior approval from the Museum and requests must be submitted no later than one month before your desired date. The rental fee is between $350 and $450 depending on the type desired of photography session. For sessions after 5 pm, there is an additional $100 per hour fee added to the reservation. Commercial Filming and Photography:
Hammond Castle Museum is available for all types of rentals including for use in magazines, movies, televisions and for profit-based videos. Photography and filming for marketing purposes of any kind, regardless of types of filming or photography equipment used is prohibited without express written permission by the Museum and must be scheduled in advance. No date is considered confirmed until the Museum has received a signed contract and fee. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the scheduled date, no refund will be issued. Hammond Castle Museum is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve the home of one of the nation’s most prolific inventors of his time. All funds raised support that mission.
