Self-Guided Tours

Our founder, John Hays Hammond Jr. loved to entertain and welcomed guests from all around the world. Explore the home of John and Irene Hammond, his work as one of the nation’s most prolific inventors, and the various historical artifacts and architectural elements throughout the Museum.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October, only self-guided tours are offered. Walk-ins are welcome daily and available up to one hour prior to the Museum’s closing. Advance ticket reservations may also be made with the purchase of a general admission ticket.
