Guided & Self-Guided Tours

Our founder, John Hays Hammond Jr. loved to entertain and welcomed guests from all around the world.  Guided and self-guided tours are offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in November and December.  On guided tours, our experienced tour guides will provide a contextualized history of John and Irene Hammond, John’s life work as one of the nation’s most prolific inventors, and the various historical artifacts and architectural elements throughout the Museum.

Self-Guided Tour Tickets are ONLY available for purchase on-site in the Museum Shop. Visitors are encouraged to purchase guided tour tickets in advance of their arrival; however walk-ins for self-guided tours are welcome.  Tickets grant access to the interior of the Museum for a period of approximately 60 minutes.
