There are no Guided Tours today. The Museum is hosting a Renaissance Music Day and only Self-Guided Tours are available.
Also, please note – free parking will be off-site at Gloucester High School with free, continuous shuttles.
Hammond Castle Museum is open for guests to tour the many rooms of the home and laboratory of John Hays Hammond, Jr., and to explore the picturesque grounds of the Castle set on Gloucester’s rocky shores.
We recommend that visitors plan 60 minutes to explore the Museum. During guided tours, our experienced tour guides will provide a contextualized history of both the Hammonds and the various artifacts located throughout the Museum. Your guide will spend about half and hour with you and then you will have the opportunity explore the Museum on your own. There is no difference in ticket costs between guided and self-guided tours.
