Holiday Illumination Celebration with Jambalaya Horns

With holiday lights cast upon our majestic castle and romantic arches, starting at the stairs leading down to the Museum, the grounds and museum will create a magical holiday scene.

Guests will have free access to our iconic 12th- and 13th-Century Arches, Bell Tower and Drawbridge.

Hammond Castle Museum is delighted to welcome local-favorite, Jambalaya Horns as they begin their Twelve days of Christmas Caroling tour at our 12th and 13 century arches where they’ll start the season off with holiday favorites and joyous second-lines.  They will will perform a 45 minute set beginning at 6:00pm.

This performance is free and open to the public. 

Guests who wish to peek into the Hammond’s historic home and see the Great Hall decked for the Holidays are welcome to do so.

Please note: Not all portions of the Museum will be open to guests. Guests will only have access to the Great Hall and rooms leading down to the Great Hall.

If you can’t  make it on the 26th, the illumination will run from Saturday, November 26th through Sunday, January 1st.

On Thursday nights throughout December, (December 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29) the museum will open to offer candlelight guided tours. For more information about our Deck The Halls by Candlelight tours, or to reserve your  tickets CLICK HERE.

No reservations are required to enjoy the holiday illumination program.

Hammond Castle Museum is proud to participate in Discover Gloucester’s  3rd Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann.
