Cultural Heritage Through Image with Dr. Kisha Tracy
August 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm$15.00
Tuesday, August 20th at 7pm, Dr. Kisha Tracy will discuss the inspiration behind the exhibit and host a presentation on the process of how she and fellow contributors identify and research the various cultural heritage sites around the world, followed by a Question and Answer session.
Cultural Heritage Through Image:
Ancient, Medieval and New England illuminates how stories of ancient European cultural heritages parallel the cultural heritage of today’s, local New England communities. Dr. Tracy’s exhibit is a logical extension of the Hammond’s dedication to preserving and understanding the cultural heritage of the medieval era by the examination of past and present cultural norms. K-12 instructors are encouraged to visit the exhibition as there will be materials that support incorporating cultural heritage in general or the Cultural Heritage through Image project specifically into the classroom.
