POSTPONED Opening Day Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Free Admission

April 3, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

In support of efforts to contain the Covid 19 outbreak, we are postponing this event. We wish you all good health and look forward to welcoming the community back into museum as soon as possible.

Join us as we mark the start of our 45th Season with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10 am and day long celebration! In honor of the continuation of our founder, John Hays Hammond Jr’s., dream that his home and collection of artifacts serve as a museum, we invite you to take a self guided tour of the museum at no cost from 10 am to 3 pm.

Special guests will include Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken.

*We are grateful for the generous support of Timothy S. Hopkins Catering which is generously providing some after ceremony refreshments!
